The Story
The Alpine UTE-204DAB is a feature-packed single-DIN digital media receiver that brings Alpine's renowned sound quality to any vehicle. Built around a DAB+ tuner, it delivers noise-free digital radio reception with access to a far wider range of stations than traditional FM, with easy browsing by alphabetical or genre listing.
Connectivity is comprehensive. The built-in Bluetooth module supports hands-free calling with an included microphone, while also enabling wireless audio streaming — so you can play Spotify, internet radio, or any audio from your smartphone without touching your phone. iPhone and iPod users can connect via USB to access their music library and Apple Music, while Android users benefit from Android Open Accessory 2.0 support for USB audio playback and control directly through the head unit.
The front USB port supports sticks and hard drives with up to 1000mA power supply, with playback of MP3, AAC, WMA, and FLAC high-resolution audio files. Sound tuning is handled by Alpine's Bass Engine SQ along with 10 equaliser presets and a 3-band parametric EQ, with 3 pre-outs at 2 volts for connecting external amplifiers, alongside the built-in 4×50W amplifier for direct speaker connections.
To finish it off, the illumination can be adjusted across the full RGB spectrum — including blue, green, red, yellow, aqua, and gold — to match any dashboard aesthetic.
